The concept of this project is to integrate the beauty and spirituality of nature into the indoor environment to help alleviate stress.

By focusing on the theme of light and shadow, we eventually chose the concept of tree shadows from options such as the aurora, firelight, and tree shadows. This is because, compared to the aurora, tree shadows are not affected by the observation location and are more familiar to the public. We also hope to take this opportunity to hint at and encourage users to discover aesthetics in familiar daily life scenarios, thus facing life more positively.

Moreover, compared to firelight, tree shadows often convey a sense of tranquility. The gently swaying tree shadows, often accompanied by a soft rhythm, align with an individual's visual system and sensory experience, assisting the viewer in achieving a relaxed and natural state. Consequently, we conceptualized a lamp designed to create a dappled tree shadow ambiance in the bedroom, serving as the main theme of our entire project.

In this project, I was primarily responsible for preliminary research, experimental testing, and the production of the product prototype (UI interface and 3D modeling). This project primarily utilizes Arduino to achieve interactive effects between humans and the device. The innovative device is a beautiful spherical lamp, carefully encased in green leaves, forming a hollow design. As night falls, the lamp emits a warm glow, mimicking the color temperature of the sun. This light shines through the gaps in the leaves, projecting onto the wall to form an intertwined tapestry of light and shadow. Meanwhile, the use of Arduino and gesture sensors allows for interactivity and controllability, enabling the audience to freely create different leaf shadow art effects, thus better showcasing the aesthetic and artistic nature of the leaf shadows. Additionally, we designed a mobile control program for more convenient user manipulation of the device.

Understanding the direction, intensity of natural light, and the distribution of shadows allows for a more accurate simulation of outdoor lighting conditions, enhancing the authenticity of the design. By mimicking the variations in natural light and shadow effects, we can amplify users' emotional experiences, generating a more appealing and captivating result.

Simultaneously, it aims to motivate users to be active and break the cycle of prolonged sitting, promoting overall well-being. This design not only facilitates convenient interaction but also encourages users to prioritize their health, fostering a positive lifestyle.
